As a husband and a father of three daughters, I believe deeply that every person has the right to make their own healthcare decisions — free from political interference, stigma, or fear. Reproductive rights are human rights. Period.

But this fight is bigger than just protecting access to abortion — it’s about ensuring that everyone can make informed, autonomous decisions about their health and their future. It’s about access to birth control, comprehensive reproductive care, and the right to start or grow a family safely and on your own terms.

I will fight to protect and expand reproductive freedom at every level:

• Codify Roe v. Wade into federal law and protect access to abortion nationwide.

• Defend access to birth control and emergency contraception, including over-the-counter options.

• Protect IVF and fertility treatments from extremist attacks and restrictive laws.

• Expand access to maternal healthcare, especially in rural and underserved communities.

• Reduce the racial and economic disparities in maternal mortality, which are a national disgrace.

• Support paid family and medical leave so parents can care for themselves and their children without risking their jobs or income.

• Ensure insurance coverage and funding for reproductive healthcare through Medicaid, Title X, and the Affordable Care Act.

• Protect doctors, providers, and patients from criminalization and harassment for providing or seeking care.

This isn’t just a healthcare issue — it’s a freedom issue, a fairness issue, and a moral issue. No one should have to ask permission to control their own body or make choices about their own life.
